Integrated Services Bureau
The Integrated Services Bureau (ISB) provides technology, research, data analytics, program support, and public communication services that support the San Bernardino County Probation Department’s mission. As the Department’s centralized support bureau, ISB integrates information technology, research, performance measurement, strategic initiatives, and external communications to enhance operational effectiveness, strengthen transparency, and support informed decision-making.
By bringing technology, research, programming, and external communications together under one bureau, ISB improves collaboration, reduces duplication of effort, and provides integrated solutions that support every bureau within the Department. Through innovation and continuous improvement, ISB enhances organizational performance, accountability, and public trust.
What We Do

Divisions Within the Bureau
Automated Services Division
The Automated Services Division provides secure information technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, systems administration, business solutions, and technical support that enable the Department’s daily operations. The Division ensures employees have reliable, secure, and efficient technology resources to support public safety and departmental services.
Research and Programming Division
The Research and Programming Division provides research, data analytics, performance measurement, program evaluation, and operational reporting to support evidence-based decision-making throughout the Department. The Division also oversees the Multidimensional Anti-Recidivism Partnership (MAP), delivering evidence-based programming designed to reduce recidivism, improve client outcomes, and support rehabilitation through collaborative, data-informed practices.
External Affairs Division
The External Affairs Division manages public communications, media relations, digital platforms, public information initiatives, community engagement, and transparency efforts. Through timely, accurate, and coordinated communications, the Division strengthens public trust and keeps the community informed about the Department’s mission, services, and accomplishments.
