ARISE Program

A Restorative Integration for Successful Engagement (ARISE) Program in San Bernardino County was developed in response to SB 823/SB 92, which realigned the Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to local counties.

The Bureau is responsible for the secure housing, treatment, and educational/vocational needs of youth previously committed to DJJ, as well as for the post-release supervision of youth returning from DJJ and those released from a Secure Youth Treatment Facility (SYTF). By engaging family members, supportive adults, and the community, ARISE creates treatment teams that support youth in their reintegration and reduce recidivism.
